Monita Leavitt, Ph.D. is an international gifted education specialist, author, and online instructor for Athena’s Advanced Academy (USA). A teacher for over 35 years, including 25 in gifted education, she consults and provides staff development on giftedness both nationally and internationally. A member of the World Council for Gifted and Talented Children and the European Council for High Ability Children, Dr. Leavitt serves as a Board Member for the Gifted and Talented Centers in Bavaria, Italy, and Lithuania.
