Supporting Twice-Exceptional Visual-Spatial Learners in Home SettingsPaper
Twice-exceptional learners have strengths in creativity as well as a combination of high potential and learning differences (Reis et al., 2014; Fugate et al., 2013). When these learners have strong visual-spatial skills, they express creativity and learning using specific strengths and needs (Silverman, 2002). This session will discuss research-based approaches to help parents better understand and support these diverse twice-exceptional learners in home settings.
